Queen of Majong

Today I met up with Wee Loon, Raishun, Wilson, Shie Chiat and Eric for dinner at Tampines. We sat down at a food court for dinner and had chit chats. Then we went exploring the new mall Tampines One.

After that, I went to Dom's house for Mahjong. A round with Hazel, Dom, and his parents. And this Hazel of mine is really lucky!!! Just when Dom is started nagging that we should leave before it was too late for last bus, Hazel responded " One last game."

And this is how the last game was played.

1. Hazel , the dealer, threw a dice of 12.
2. Hazel got a set of tiles with a flower.
3. Hazel got another flower on a flower draw.
4. Hazel drew another tile on the flower draw.
5. And that's it. She won.

That's what we called the Heavenly Hand. (天胡).

Wikipedia says: " This refers to the scenario where the winner, as the dealer, wins the round on the first turn (ie. with the tiles given after dealing and flower/animal replacement). Because of its rarity, this criterion is often awarded the limit no matter how many points is the limit"

Her cards.

My first time of seeing it in a real life!!!

And we are so amazed by it, that we started working out all kinds of possible combination of numbers for a 4D(:

And because the last game was so quick. We managed to catch our last bus home(: Thanks Hazel for the game, it's really an eye-opener!
