Cell Retreat 2009- The Next Step With God.
Philippians 3:13-14

I must admit I was so reluctant to go at the begining because of all the assignments and tests coming up. But I'm glad that I went.

I am reeling over every part of the retreat. Cuddling together on sofa for movies. The heartwarming shaker fries, chicken nuggets and McFlurry @ 2 a.m. Water-Bombing in the rain. The overcooked BBQ wings. Sharing and encouraging, learning and worshipping together with all my friends and mentors. Detailed scenes like these kept flashing through my mind every 2,3 minutes even till now, making me even more difficult to get back to my work. Just how I wish everyday is retreat day!

Maybe it's us. (As you have frankly point out), "tired of us", " tired of this house", " seeking souls for comfort and escape to peaceful and happier places " all in the wrong way.

Maybe it's the art of seduction. Oops, don't tell me we got it too? I'm always stupid enough to bite the forbidden fruits and he, too, is either greedy, indecisive or a commitment phobic.

Funniest of all: Why do you have to feel jealous over some 70 years old married old man and who isn't really rich at all?

Hais, I think we will be going back to old days again): Random waves of mood swings, Non-stops of nagging and Canned food as meals.

2012

Thanks for my families' particiapation in the movie marathon, I have got free movie tickets & membership card to video ezy(: So today I went Lido to watch 2012 with Charlene, Beverly & Ryan. It is one of the better blockbuster movies I have seen, it's much nicer than other end-times show such as The Day After Tomorrow, World of the Wars(or is it Wars of the world, I never bother to remeber), The Happening (another movie with Zooey Deschanel).

2012 is the modern replay of Noah's Ark.



Very Very Very randomly, I went for a job interview @ Tangs for part time promoter during December holiday weekends. ( I need cash!). I will be a sales promoter for Nooka, some ridiculously pricey watch. Even the cheapest of these colourful watches costs up to $200+. Look @ the zoom in view of the watch and read the time. It sucks away about 3 seconds of your time every time you glance at the watch for timing. Answer: The Black Watch Says 9.40a.m.

Sponge Bob is just beside our counter & for every Sponge Bob brand stuff we sell, we got commissions too! Beverly is also selling shoes for FLY @Tangs.

QLC-Quater Life Crisis

Few months back, I had switched from plurk to twitter(:

my plurk would say: "i'm having sandwich right now."
but my twitter would say: " kids smuggle food on war border."

Twitter is so much fun and resourceful (: Every ariticle tweeted in my box has been read by me, and surely have interested and impressed me. If you have the same interest as me, you would love my twitter box. It would be anything that ranges from environment, psychology, health , entertainment etc etc. Whatever I like.

It's only up till today, I realised other than Beverly and Hazel, Green Business Daily is also following me! And they've got an entire list of weird and unheard green news and updates, such as the " Solar Powered Treehouse Classroom" and Windfarms in many area.

I love twitter.

Black and White obession

It had been a really hectic and tiring week. And more to come. Assingments, tests are rushing up at a tsumani tidal rate. Wait Wait Wait. I havn't even figure out my frog stroke.

1. I can't understand my lectures, and I have yet to study for it!

2. I'm obessed to a drama- " Black & White". Thanks to Charlene, I ended up spending more than 10 hours over the weekend sitting in front of TV instead of my lecture notes.

3. No time! I will be spending my Hari Raya Haji Weenkend @ Cell Retreat. And my degrading brain memory and processing rate would not allow me to finish all that the school requires us to digest. You know? I took 4 hours to write 80 words' worth of summary. It is that scary.

By the way, the survivor of the 100 hour marathon will be out soon. Sad to say, it wouldn't be us. The film" Amazing Grace" killed both of my brothers. Yong Sin died at the first time they show it @ 13th hour. Andy died at the replay of it some 20 hours later.

After class on Friday, I went for dinner with Beverly & Charlene @ Just Acia, Plaza Singapura. A jukebox acade game afterward. (:

Mum was out @ 10th hour. She had to attend my sister's prize giving and thanksgiving ceremony in the morning.

Yong Sin was out @ 13th hour.

Andy is still surviving and he will survive till the end!! Go Go Go. It's more than 30 hours by now, 30% done, 60-70% of the participants gone. Mum, Albert, Joyce, Beverly, Charlene, myself and a few others wrote some encouragment words for him on the board!! Go there to support him!!! (: Yes, all of you. I bought chips, sweets, ( + a lollipop donation from beverly), drinks for him and he sent them all back. Hais, I wish I can show him support in some practical ways! ):

Punctuality matters alot in this game. People got kicked out for being late for seconds. 5 minute= 300 Seconds. @ 301 seconds, you get ready to pack your bag and wave good bye to $10,000.

100 Hours Movie Marathon

100 Hours Chill on Movie Indulgence:
100 Hours of Movie Streaming.
100 Participants. 3 Seats were taken by the Chang family, namely Chang Wan See ( Mum), Chang Yong Sin and Chang Yue Sin ( Brothers). $10,000 + a trip for 2 to Hollywood.

Some Rules to abide,
- Close your eyes for > 5seconds. OUT.
- No cover of eyes and ears for > 5 seconds.
- 5 min break for every movie, 15 min break for every 3 movies.
- No use of electronic devices during shows.
- No talking to other participants other than celebrity participants.
- No shitting and pee-ing on your seat.
- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at seat.

I've got a feeling that my brothers can take this. LOL. Their eyes and bodies are regulated to sitting in front of screens for REAL long hours (gamings). The fact that this home is silent till such a hour is a good sign. Hopefully a few more days of such. In the mean while, I got Classic 95 to kill the silence of the home.

Today, a heavy flood in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. ( Watch the attached video!!), Waterfall @ Makan Place, Overflowing of drains and canals, flooded atrium!

This morning, my mum asked, " why do you wear shorts to school when it's raining and cold all day long?" My answer went," Because of the rain, that's why need to wear shorts! How to walk through the flooded walkways with jeans?"

See, a daughter can be right sometimes.
