I got a job! LTA Ambassador(:

My friends, be reminded to change to the new EZ-Link Card by 30 September. Please go to Chinatown, City Hall and Harbour front because yours truly will be on shift boringly there.

LTA Ambassador, $6/hr weekday. $7/hr Sunday. Start Work Immediately to 7 Oct. Mainly to shorten the queue @ the ticketing office by directing people to machines to top-up card and teaching them to use that machine. Flexible shifts & locations.Weekly Pay. [ Urgently need a job? ring me(: ]

Skill required: ability to slack for 13 hours a day independently. ( Time passes slowest when you've got nothing to do)

Today, a warm-up of 5 hours with Raishun's accompany.
Tomorrow, a warm-up of 5 hours alone.
To-morrow and To-Tomorrow and many To-To-To-To- morrows to come will be the real test of my skill.

Happy Children's Day

Pop Excel celebrated the Children's Day today. There were 8 funfair-like game stalls. I was too engrossed in my station- Hand Painting that I was oblivious to the laughter that filled the entire hall.

Girl: I want a dolphin.
Me: You sure you want a dolphin? you want other things like a rainbow or a flower or a star or a sun??
Girl: No, I want a dolphin.
Me: You sure you want a dolphin? ( X bajillion times)
Girl: (Nodding her head X bajillion times)
Me: Fine, promise me you wouldn't tell others that Naomi Jie Jie drew for you.
Girl: (Reach out her last finger to deal with me)
Me: (Drew a thing that some what look like a dolphin, surely in a way or 2.)

Less than 30 minutes later...

Alan: (laughing out loud) who did that ugly dolphin?!

Daytona

25 September, Friday.

A dinner date with Beverly, Charlene, Teressa and Sophine @ Downtown East. I strongly refused to catch movie with them because I am broke. In the end, we spent like more than $5 on Daytona @ the Arcade?? LOL!

The Daytona craze is back. I'm using gears!

BEWARE: The last bus 3 from Pasir Ris is no longer @ 01++. They wrote that on the board without stating that it's only meant of bus 3A. It's like 12++, who knows. Ask Iris.

Hort Park

20 September, Sunday.

After a sleepless night, my mum insisted that I shouldn't sleep past noon and dragged me out of bed for a Hort Park trail. I've got a feeling that she would not give up lest she conquered all the forested area of Singapore. Actually, I'm still quite glad that I have such an adventurous mum.

I love the Park Connectors. Welcome to the Hort Park.( All the pictures below are REAL. I grab nothing from the web!) LOL! Compressed to too small and don't know how to expand the file back. So get your glasses ready.

Recruit Express called!! I had a one day receptionist job @ Crestar Educational Group, answering phone calls, checking/sorting out mails, e-mails, faxes etc. Recruit Express is so efficient in getting us such temp jobs((: *CLAP CLAP*, hope they are effiecient with our salary too.

And I ps my goldfriends for our karaoke session, SORRY! I'm desperate for cash. In the end, after work I joined them for " The Ugly Truth" @ Cathy.

I went to Jackson's place for Children's Day programme planning with Jackson & Raishun. But most of the time I was straightening my hair, and watching him do his wedding video montage. LOL. Really admire his photo/video editing skills. Hais, I'm really a computer idiot and know nuts about it. I wish I can learn some web designing, photoshops or video editings.

Mouse: I just came back from an evening jog, are you all training for NAFA tests?

Fly: I club, dancing is my exercise!

Cockroach: And exactly which of the 5 stations does it trained for?

Put on the lipstick agian.

I stayed in my crib till past noon since there was still no call.

After lunching alone with my 2 Episodes of Korean drama- General Hospital. ( A very inspiring shows about doctors), I went Tampines to look for clubbing clothes with Fly. This Fly just burnt a hole in a shirt, now she is going to burnt a hole in her pocket with her unchanging shopping style.

YA, I'm going clubbing with Fly, Dorian, Samuel, Meng Kuan & friends. Really, it's not because I love clubbing. It's the deal we made a few months back. The last time I danced with Fly & Mouse was a Hi-five Dance, we were even self-invited to perform for Yizi, Joyce, Qian Fang & Others. LOL. Sort of dashing into their room and forced them to be our audience kind??

Anyway, I don't know why we got so excited over it that I even went over to her place for dinner and some make-up skills from her sister. HAHA, we had some fun like a child playing with mum's lipstick.

Fly tried to stab me with sisscors for stealthily touching her 3 bottles of frangrance.

1 unexplainable truth: I am looking forward to this anticipated catastrophe (:

MAH JIONG

I went to Bugis with Chong to look for her wedding dinner dress. I spent again. This is my last splurge till I get a job. Seriously, I need a job. The relief teaching thing is not working. I have called up more than 3 schools. I woke up at 6.30a.m everyday to wait for the call. I rejected a bajillion of job offers for this relief teaching job. I spent half of my holidays waiting for this relief teaching job. So what if I got the the provisional approval and so what if I got the letter of registration? It's still not working. I need a job, desperately.

At night, Chong & I went to play mah jiong with Hazel & Dom over Dom's place.

Comex Show

13 September 2009, Sunday.

I went to the Comex show with Hazel, her sis and sis's bf to look for phones and plans. REALLY crowded,made worse by my stupid mistakes. Firstly, I thought able to change phone = contract period over. I'm still confused over the 21 mths/24 mths thing. Secondly, I thought student card is enough as a photo ID. Ya, everytime the two words" I thought" appears, be ready for something bad.

Ever since my mum decided to lay her hands off my stuff, including allowances, phonebills and transport concessions, I had to find my way out. Today is just one hard lesson to independence. And I thank Hazel for going through such lessons with me.

Her sister then treated us to a steamboat dinner @ Bugis.

We ended our day empty handed, but full stomach.(:

Cousin's Birthday

Happy Birthday to my 4 years old cousins. Felice & Raydon. We had a good family dinner over thier place. I was so amazed with Felice's presents that I helped her play most of the time.

Fireproof

Good bye Dorian, take care in your NS camp.

I missed the hotcake date with my sister in the morning.
I missed the lunch & movie date with jackson in the afternoon.
I missed the family dinner in the evening.
I flew too many aeroplanes today. Sorry.

The only thing I did not miss is the movie "fireproof", with Raishun, Chai Min, Christopher & Wilson.It talked about how a fireman saved his marriage the way he saved the fire.

End of the Scholarship Application Package Workshop. Well, I still had no idea what and where I want to be. However, it did a good job in boosting my faith & confidence in myself for a brigter future. Heh, hope this motivation last 6 months more! PLEASE.

I need to speak good and fluent English. I stammer over conversations and speeches.Help.

2B 04's Dinner

We had a 2B 04's Reunion Dinner or the Chin Zhi's NS farewell dinner or the Kah Ray's end of presentation celebration dinner. Yes, that dinner @ Compasspoint Sukura Indonesia Restaurant. A goodtime of updates of the present and recalls of the past.

The time travellor's wife

This evening, I went to watch The Time Travellor's Wife with Chong I wanted to get the novel before it came out as a movie, but I hadn't left a single cent then. Now, after the movie, I was tempted even more to get my book. A sad but interesting story. He was 30 somethings and she was 6 when they first met. When she grew up and he time travelled and they eventually ended up marrying each other, should I say happily or sadly? Imagine you time travelled to see somebody you loved die more than a 100 times yet unable to do anything to change it and imagine seeing youself die, counting and waiting for the hour of death, it's really heartbreaking.

A story with nice twists. Maybe I should have a time travellor husband: Though I will never completely have him, neither will I completely loose him.

Eddie Teo, PSC Chairman is looking for a laundry list of criterias that just weren't born in me. Don't fake it, because he knows. He can tell if that's a "political correct" answer or a truthful answer. 6 more months to make a major decision of what we call a career and not a job.

HAHA. If you are Eddie Teo, you could tell that all these while I have been giving you the "political correct "answer.
