I am begining to feel the stress. Assignments and reports are piling like a mountain and i haven started a single thing. Do not let me fall sick at this point of time please.
Hazel, am i going to see you only in December? I'm starting to miss you. I would not let our piling works disrupts our friendship and let it come to a stand still. Fate will bring us to each other in school!

COLD SORE
My cold sore is back again! This year it recurr like more than TWICE!):
Hais, i really didnt know where i contracted this virus from in Singapore. But it doesnt really matter now, the most important is my responsiblitly to make sure i dont pass it to others. My dear friends, all of you are so important to me!
It just recurr yesterday night, and blood donation is today. My sore just came at the wrong time. I cannot donate blood if i have an active cold sore.
Yea. and JunLin advice me to do some research on it. so here it goes, my report. I hightligted important point in RED. I know nobody will be that free to read the whole thing.
Cold sores are small, painful, fluid-filled blisters or sores that appear on the lips, mouth, or nose that are caused by a virus. The sores can be painful and usually last a few days. Unlike most viral infections, the cold sore virus is not completely eliminated by the body defenses. For this reason, cold sores often recur.
The virus that causes cold sores is known as the herpes simplex virus (HSV). There are two types of HSV, type I and type II. Cold sores are usually caused by type I. Herpes simplex infections are contagious. The virus is spread from person to person by kissing or other close contact with sores or even from contact with apparently normal skin that is shedding the virus. Infected saliva is also a means of transmitting the virus. People are most contagious when they have active blister-like sores. Once the blisters have dried and crusted over (within a few days), the risk of contagion is significantly lessened. However, a person infected with HSV can pass it on to another person even when a cold sore is not present. This is because the virus is sometimes shed in saliva even when sores are not present. Despite popular myth, it is almost impossible to catch herpes (cold sores) from contaminated surfaces, towels, or washcloths. It is known that some conditions seem to be associated with recurrences, including
fever, colds, or the flu (this is why some people call them "fever blisters"),
ultraviolet radiation (exposure to the sun),stress, changes in the immune system, hormonal changes, such as menstruation, and trauma to the skin. Sometimes there is no apparent cause of the recurrence.Colds sores have a tendency to recur in more or less the same place. Such recurrences may happen often (for example, once a month) or only occasionally (for example, once or twice a year).
Cold sores contain the HSV-1 virus. People with cold sores should wash their hands often, especially after touching the face. Cups and eating utensils should not be shared with another person.
There is no cure for cold sores. The herpes simplex virus hides deep in nerve roots and cannot be wiped out by medicines that are currently on the market. Most people will continue to get cold sores off and on throughout their life.

Social Experiment
We went Bugis for a social experiment for our Psychology module.
" Offering a free service of helping shoppers to carry their bag".
So tedious, yet we don't really have very fruitful result! We were rejected 90% of our tries. Although oberserving the reaction of the people can be really interesting, it is so embarrasing and stupid. I'm sure i'm not going to do this kind of experiment ever!!
It is a good learning opportunity and experience anyway.(:

Happy Deepavali!
Happy Deepavali! Hee, HOLIDAY! The next public holiday will be like 2 months away in December? I can't wait. I'm always on the count to HOLIDAYS(:
We went to Changi Village for a family outing. One of my favourite sport, cycling.( I think the main reason is there isn't alot of sport which i can do).
But everytime we went there to cycle, it rained. I still love the cozy hut where families of different background, different culture and religion hide there, open up their colorful umbrella to form a protected shelter. Such a heart-warming art piece.

High Bus Fares for Polytechnic students Petition
High Bus Fares for Polytechnic students Petition
To: the bus companies
It is obviously unfair that SMRT and SBS charge polytechnic students adult fares while JC students only pay 45cents per trip. Are we not of the same age as JC students? Do we NOT travel as much as JC students do? Are our families any better off than theirs? The general answer is NO, Polytechnic students are in fact just average students. Yes, there are elder students who are already working and capable of supporting themselves, but they still hold a very much smaller percentage as compared to the young students fresh from secondary school. I do believe SMRT and SBS are smart enough to not make decisions based on stereotyping thinking, and i certainly do believe that they are capable of being fair and unbiased, so i take it this fare difference was due to negligence in decision discussion and making. A higher fare would very directly affect the students' moods about school, discouraging students from poorer families to continue with their studies. This could impact the Singaporean economy as the majority of people studying go to polytechnics after their O levels, and a high fare would discourage workers from coming back to polytechnics to upgrade themselves.
Sincerely,
I signed it! I hope ALL poly students will sign it! And I hope the this peitition will move the public transport sector to review again our transport fare(:

NUMB.
I have been so numb to everything for quite sometime. numb to people, numb to laughter, numb to conversations, numb to desicions, numb to myself. Basically numb to everything.
But how can I be numb to Hazel and how can I be numb to God's Word?
Revive my senses, Lord.

FOOD and FOOD.
We went Chomp Chomp at Serangoon Garden for dinner with Solphine, Beverly, Charlene, Chai Min and Cherry yesterday for dinner. Hee, don't know why since the last holiday, we grew so close back again=)
by the way, yesterday we were really road blur!
- Just to get to Serangoon and meet them, Chai min and I miss the MRT by 3 stops once
- Cherry miss the stop TWICE.
-and by the time we finish eating and were about to leave, it's almost 12 plus. We are suppose to take the feeder bus back to interchange, yet the bus went back to the same place where we board the bus after one big round!
-We took the cab home. I fell asleep right after Charlene alighted, and the taxi uncle overshot my place and we had to make a U-turn back.
SAD! we must have been cheated! We went 2 nearby places yet we pay the about the same amount as they went bedok 3 places! The uncle must have drive me round and round while i was asleep!
Serangoon to Punggol- Senkang: $16.50
Serangoon to Bedok-bedok and bedok- $18.
Then we went for Dessert Bowl for Desserts!
I love that olden Music Player. so cute!

She cheated the Plastic Surgeon.
I wonder how far a friend's help can go? To risk our money of more than 200K just to bail her out for her mistake?
It's so difficult to judge how far should a friend's help should stop.
It's so difficult to say NO to a friend, especailly when she's in desperate help.
Does it mean to give up the friendship if we say NO?
Where is the line of limit?
She calls us FRIEND. Others calls her liar.

But every morning, I am alright again. Am I falling sick soon?

Kill time, Kill soldiers.
My favourite "Tatoo" of the day!
That gives me motivation to keep my eyes wide open for the lecture today.
To kill time, we killed some soldiers.
While waiting for the GV meeting, we spend 1 1/2 hours in the games room playing risk with Meixian, Cathrine, Weiyi, Yizi, and Nicholas. I must admit it is kind of addicitve.

Planning for the Holiday.
School just started and there we are, planning for our December holiday. Haha!
For once, you really convinced me to go Indonesia with you all. Free accommodation, free food, free transport. $210 for 5 days.( Excluding the 1 night stay @ Mt. Bromo) and we will be on a 5 star airline (Qatar Airways) 19-23 Dec/08'
And i guess i am just not fated to cell retreat although i really really want to join. EVERY YEAR. EVERY SINGLE YEAR. I will have something on.
1st year- family trip to Genting
2nd year- World Vision Camp
This year- I tried to push everything off the scheduled timing. Yet something still pops us unexpectedly.
CAEM EXAM! 8.30 in the morning somemore.

We were rejected!
I worked in Ikea with Jun Lin today.
I must admit work is getting more boring, after working for 2 years there.
Guru and i tried to bring that huge cardboard skins (more than 180cm) back for some project use.We thought Taxi claim would come in handy. But no, we were rejected again and again by normal taxi because they are too huge for them. We oncalled for a 7 seater cab (oncall is an addition of $8), and waited for more than half an hour until the taxi person told us it's "quite difficult" to get it. YA, and the way she said it, she must well say "it's impossible". We tried to took bus 89, and were rejected by the driver too. For that moment, i thought i was never going to make it home. NOBODY would take us in. ):
Only at 5 minutes before 12, we met a nice taxi uncle who are willing to let us TRY. No choice, we had to fold the thing to get it into the cab. Sorry people, that's the only way i can do, if not im not going to get home. And thanks Guru, really thanks, for all his time and patience!(: I will treat you a drink! i promise!
Adeline said my new hair look like HELMET head. So i decided helmet head will be this season's most stylish hair(: so start imagining everybody with helmet head. Hee, and this is what Jun Lin will look like with her Helmet head.

Solphine's Birthday
THURSDAY no school. Lessons from 9 am to 6pm were all cancelled, and so was today's lesson from 8a.m to 12.p.m. I simply love first week of school.
I met up with Solphine, Beverly, Charlene and Mei Lian for dinner at Marina Square's Dome. And it was after Charlene told us that it was Solphine's 21 birthday on that day then we knew it. And the worst thing was that we don't believe it! Solphine's birthday party is on 30 NOVEMBER. Who on this earth will put a birthday party one month off the actual birthday? So we didn't really prepare anything. Sorry, Solphine! and still a happy birthday to you(:

4 Day Maid
We will be having a temporary 4 days maid soon!! My aunt will be going Hongkong with her family and granny, instead of putting the maid back to the agency which cost like $10/day, she will be putting her at our house!
I can't wait! HAHA, then i can lay my hands off all the laundry, dishes, vacuums and more. More importantly she will spare me off from my mum's nagging. My saviour, we will treat you well!

The first day of school we wasted around 3 hours or more because of early ended lessons and lunch breaks.
Accidentally, we found the new renovated library.

Eric's BBQ
We went for Eric's BBQ @ Pasir Ris today. And i miss the class steamboat! I really wish we had that chalet as planned. I did not really spend much time with Poly friends during this 2 months holiday, maybe a few school event, that is like far too little and boring.
Anyway, Eric's Birthday BBQ, (the lighting is real bad)

I love this basketball game @ the acade! It's beverly's point that bring us all the way to level 5 although we only scored like 270 points.
i miss them, right after we parted good byes.
